Consultation Fee Agreement

This is an agreement between you (“authorized credit card user”) and Cornerstone Law Offices, for the limited representation that Cornerstone Law Offices shall provide called “Consultation.”

A Consultation with Cornerstone Law Offices is a meeting with a Licensed Attorney to discuss your immigration legal matter. An Attorney-Client Relationship will be formed for a limited period. Your communications during the Consultation will be confidential and privileged. However, the Attorney-Client Relationship will terminate at the end of the Consultation. No additional legal services shall be provided to you outside of the Consultation unless you enter into another Fee Agreement with Cornerstone Law Offices that outlines those legal services.

After booking your Consultation, you may cancel the transaction. For a full refund, you must cancel the appointment on the same day of booking it. If cancellations are made after the day of booking and before 24 hours of the appointment, a refund will still be issued. However, Cornerstone Law Offices will deduct processing fees incurred for the transaction and you will receive a partial refund.

Further, all attorney fees paid under this Agreement are fully earned when one of our licensed attorneys appear at a Consultation at the scheduled time. Service shall be deemed rendered at the time of the Consultation. No refunds shall be issued for attorney fees that have been earned.

You will have a maximum of 1 hour for the Consultation. If you do not appear for the Consultation after 15 minutes of your appointment time, you will be considered a “no-show,” and your meeting will not be rescheduled without the payment of another Consultation fee. Attorneys will end the Zoom video or telephone call at the 15-minute mark if you do not appear for the meeting.

To reschedule your meeting, you must provide at least 24 hour notice. Our office will not reschedule your meeting for a different time on the same day as the original appointment.

If your name does not match the credit cardholder’s name, your transaction will be voided unless a Third Party Authorization Form is on file before the Consultation date. If you are a third party booking on behalf of someone else, you are required to fill out a Third Party Authorization Form, and provide proof of your identity in the form of a picture ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport). You shall also be charged an additional fee of $35 for a Third Party booking. Law office staff shall provide you with the form after booking.

By clicking below, you are authorizing Cornerstone Law Offices to debit your credit card in the amount of $250.00 for the Consultation. You are claiming to be the authorized user of the credit card. The credit card is in your name. You are purchasing this service online through LawPay (Cornerstone Law Offices payment portal). You also understand that you are waiving your right to dispute this charge with your bank for claims of services not received by cardholder or other similar claim of non-service.
